In addition, Avid provides these benefits: Rain-fast within hours of application, with no unsightly residue and very little odor. Prevents damage to plants—pests stop feeding on plant tissue within hours of ingestion. Optimized for the highest level of crop tolerance. Ideal for rotation in resistance management programs due to its unique chemistry and mode of action.
Considering generics? First, weigh the risks. Formulating a miticide/insecticide product with abamectin is a highly complex process. Loss of the chemical’s full efficacy is a constant risk. While the generics compare themselves to Avid, Syngenta is the original developer and has the only patented and proven purification process that filters out the less-active avermectin strains, leaving only the most potent active ingredient for the highest level of pest control. You’ve only got one chance to get mites under control. So, make it count.
Beethoven TR miticide/insecticide, with the active ingredient etoxazole, is a new total release aerosol from BASF. It provides control of mites, including the two-spotted spider mite, and suppresses whiteflies. In addition, Beethoven TR offers quick and easy application, thorough coverage, excellent plant safety and flexible re-entry times. (same active ingredient as Tetrasan.)
All the benefits of Indicate 5 but without the red indicator. Super 7 provides more uniform coverage by decreasing surface tension of spray solutions, thus aiding in penetration. It may be used as an acidifying agent to lower pH of spray solutions, thus preventing alkaline hydrolysis of pesticides sensitive to high pH. BRANDT SUPER 7 may be used on agricultural, aquatic, forestry, turf and ornamental, industrial, structural and non-cropland sites. Available in gallon only. Highly alkaline water (pH 8 or higher): Use 8-16 ounces per 100 gallons of spray mixture (1/2 to 1 tsp per gallon) . Mildly alkaline/acid water (pH 6.5 to 8): Use 4-8 ounces per 100 gallons of spray mixture (1/4 to 1/2 tsp per gallon). Not available for sale in AR, MS, UT, WV, and WY.

Ovation SC helps you eliminate mite infestations and minimize population numbers for greater control. This miticide is highly active on mite eggs and immature stages and starts to work at the moment of application. It also provides residual control and continues to fight off mites for up to 45 days. If you apply Ovation SC at the right time, such as at the first sign of activity, it may eliminate the need to use other miticides in your management program. Clofentezine is the active ingredient in Ovation SC and targets mites at the youngest stages, including the eggs. It works through direct spray contact or by mite contact with residue on the foliage. Clofentezine wipes out immature mites and prevents the eggs from hatching. It also controls many different mite species that feed on plants in greenhouses and field-grown stock. If adult mites make up a majority of the population, you can tank-mix Ovation SC with an adult miticide for improved control. NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA.
