Avid is great for mite control and has finally been labled for control of thrips. Long-time rosarians have known that Avid is the best product on the market for thrip control but we could not advertise this great attribute until it was offically labled as such. Best when used with Stirrup M. Usage is 1/4 teaspoons per gallon of water. As is the case with all miticides, do not spray them preventatively but only as needed. Mites have a tendency to build up resistance. Alternate miticides when economically feasible.
