Our new Gro-Mat is just the ticket for starting those new seedlings or keeping the soil warm during winter months to produce new growth.The Gro-mat uses a steel grid to produce convection heating. This is done by creating a space between your Gro-Mat and your pots or trays. By indirectly heating your seedlings or plants, there is no danger of "over heating" them. The Gro-Mat is made of 3/8" heavy duty, waterproof rubber. No expensive external thermostat is required as in other heating-type mats as the proper root zone temperature is established by an internal thermostat.
The Gro-Mat adheres to ANSI/UL certification. Size is 15.25" x 21". This is the best heating mat we have tried. Makes a great gift!
