This beautiful new miniflora from Robbie Tucker came by its name from Hurricane Ike. Ty and Paige Tucker (Robbie's Son and Daughter-in-law)live between Houston and Galveston, Texas and their new home was right in the path of Ike in 2008. The good news is that they were both with only small damage to their home. Regardless, Ike gave everyone some tense moments and it just seemed right to name a rose after this event.
Hurricane is a beautiful miniflora with excellent form. Its flowering habit is mostly one to a stem with some sprays. The plant is of moderate height and will make a good patio plant.
