Mills Magic Rose Mix can be applied at any time during the growing season. However, it is recommended that at least two applications, one in early Spring after pruning and again in mid Summer, be applied. The recommended rate of use is two to three cups worked into the soil around the drip line of the plant and watered in well. Miniature roses require only one cup. One twenty pound bag of the Mix is enough for about thirty rose bushes. Mills Magic Rose Mix is marketed as a supplement to the grower's fertilizing program; however, several rosarians report excellent results using only this product. Numerous nationwide testimonials attest to it's performance with roses as well as annuals and perennials. (Using the Mix exclusively warrants application each 6 weeks during the growing season.)
