Lady EowynTM remains a Top 20 rose and is back on our list this year by popular demand but only in limited quantities. She especially likes hot weather and is at her best in this climate. This eye-catching miniflora rose from hybridizer, Robbie Tucker, has crimson petal edges on white, exhibition centers and tall straight stems. The blooms are extremely long lasting and show the most color in full sunlight.
Because of the high petal count, Lady Eowyn should be pruned 8 weeks prior to show week. We recommend cutting at 1/2 open stage and bringing into a "room-temperature" environment. Groom the rose over a 24 hour period until Queen stage is obtained. Refrigerate immediately after and she will reward you for your attention to detail. Lady Eowyn was named in honor of the heroine of the JR Tolkien book, "The Lord of the Rings".
